project brief

Kenya Country Programme

Why this project?

Since its inception in 2011, the TMA Kenya Country Programme has been assisting the Government of Kenya and the private sector to implement interventions to boost trade within itself, with its neighbours, and with the rest of the world, and to facilitate effective participation and leadership of the country in driving the EAC integration agenda. The programme supported 28 projects worth about $90 million from inception to June 2017. The interventions cut across the three TMA strategic objectives and aim to contribute to TMA’s overall impact targets by end of TMA’s Phase I programming.
